VANGUARD
Wireless Auditing Suite
VANGUARD turns the M5Stack Cardputer ADV (ESP32-S3) into a pocket wireless auditing tool for authorized security testing. Most tools start from an attack menu; VANGUARD starts from the target.
What he built
- A target-first flow: it scans on boot, lists every WiFi, BLE and IR target in range, and shows only the actions that are valid for the selected target.
- Context-aware actions: for example, it hides PMKID capture on WPA3 networks and hides WiFi actions on 5 GHz networks, which the ESP32-S3 cannot reach.
- WiFi discovery with signal strength, channel and security details, BLE enumeration through NimBLE, IR signal replay, and PCAP storage on an SD card.
- A custom double-buffered interface for the 135x240 display, written in C++ with PlatformIO for low-power embedded use.
